Miami & Superior: Misc Pictures

Here are some miscellaneous pictures from mine and Sharon's last trip to Miami and Superior, AZ.  We will be taking many more trips in 2011 and working on another Abandoned Places book.  Be looking for all the photos, videos, and posts on our antics while taking these trips.  My next two posts will be the best of our 2010 trips plus other events from this year.  Looking forward to all that the next year is going to bring us.

Abandoned or not? We were not sure.

  1. I swear, I wish we had taken pics of all the "slow children at play" signs because it was cracking me up so much, I nearly wet myself. They were basically the only signs up in these nowhere towns and it had me driving very cautiously and wonder about the local gene pool.

  2. There were lots of those signs around town, weren't there, lol? While looking for abandon places to add to the book, we had to be cautious of the "slow children". The day was fun and the weather was perfect. I am looking forward to more trips with you and if possible, some guests as well.

  3. Honestly, if I could, I would just take along all the followers to these places, so what we need to do is make it as real for them as possible. I'd like to do some real-to-life filming of these places we go to and maybe do give-aways based on the places as well. I want to share the SW with everyone since to most of the country we live on the freaking moon.

  4. Sharon; The real-to-life videos would be great and we can post them to the blogs soon afterwards. I want to take many more pictures and have giveaways. My first will be right after I get that 100th follower. So far we have shown our friends and followers some interesting places in AZ and we have many more places to travel to.

Sucio; thanks for the compliment. I am still learning my camera and hope to have more pictures of cool AZ and other states' places next year.
