We are going back to this town on Wednesday which had several abandoned buildings. We will be on the lookout for four different types of empty buildings and structures for Sharon to get good readings on. Look for our posts on this trip to follow...
I'm so ready to shake up that town. The locals slow down and stare at you if you're taking pictures of their abandoned places. They're not so friendly, so I tend to wear a push-up bra when we go. Then, the almost all male population is very accommodating. A lot of those mine boom towns got spent and closed down. The remains were glorious for their day since gold paid for everything, but nowadays they're just spooky spider catchers and I love them!
Cheryl, it is creepy there but the abandoned buildings take beautiful photos. I love the ghost towns too. There are several more in AZ and we will be going to them. "Getting a reading" is Sharon touching an object in these abandoned buildings and seeing what kind of story from the past she can pick up. It is interesting watching her do that.
Jane, we can't wait either. Every trip to each abandoned place is an adventure. We never know what we will find.
Sharon, the locals must think we are weird taking an interest in their abandoned buildings. They give creepy stares (like zombies). We seem to find the best places in those small mine towns that are now almost empty with very few people living there.
That was kinda creepy. Kinda expected something undead to jump out.
