| Haunted Mansion (Disneyland) |
It's October! Sharon and I are going to take some trips to Halloween events, haunted hotels and abandoned places to celebrate autumn and the scary season. One of the things that lots of people love to do is to get the crap scared out of them at a haunted house. Each state has one or two that will have you screaming and running to get out of them. Those are the best. We have some here along with scary corn mazes which us crazy gals are going to check out. We are hoping to get videos of our antics in the corn maze.....muahaha! Meanwhile here are some of the more famous creepy homes that were in either a movie or TV show.

| The Addams Family (snap, snap) |

| Bates House (Psycho) |
 |
| Hewitt House (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) |
 |
| The Munsters |

| Amityville Horror |

| Whipstaff Manor |
 |
| House on Haunted Hill |

Beetlejuice

Fantastic post! I think the Munster's house was my very favorite, but the house in the remake of "The Haunting" was probably the most bad-ass of all the haunted houses. I loved the carousel room and the giant lions and gargoyles.
ReplyDeleteI love October and Halloween. It's about time to start watching all of my favorite horror movies! Have fun on your adventures,
ReplyDeleteJane
Fun, Fun, Fun! The Texas Chainsaw House CREEPS me out the most because "DAMN GINA!" That crap could happen! I got chills just looking at it! ! I have never thought about filming an adventure through a haunted house etc. That's a really cool idea! There was one that my ex-hubby and some friends went to a few years ago that was through the woods. It took almost an hour getting through it! IT WAS THE SHIT! Hope to go back this year if I can remember where and what it was called! LOL
ReplyDeleteAutumn; I love the Munsters and their dragon pet, Spot. I had a wee bit of a crush on Eddie Munster. Who wouldn't like a green kid with pointy ears and carries around a doll named Wolfy. The house in "The Haunting" was very creepy.
ReplyDeleteJane; let all the horror flicks begin. What a fun month!
Tara; The Hewitt house is so nasty and creepy with a basement filled with body parts. It gives me chills too. Sharon and I are going to a haunted corn maze and hay ride on the 16th. She will be doing a video while I will take tons of pictures.
I'd love to live in any one of those houses.
ReplyDeleteI can see myself living in the Maitland's house (Beetlejuice) but before the Deetz family got hold of it and ruined the charming look.
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
ReplyDeleteI was a huge fan of the Addams family and the Munsters. Those two have to be my faces; although I do like the house from Psycho; but only because I've seen it in person. OK; well, from the tramcar, anyway.. but it still counts. right??
