Green Acres is the place to be,
Farm livin' is the life for me,
Land spreadin' out so far and wide,
Keep Manhattan just give me that country side.
New York is where I'd rather stay,
I get allergic smelling hay,
I just adore a penthouse view,
Darling I love you but give me Park Avenue.
The chores,
The stores,
Fresh air,
Time Square!
You are my wife,
Goodbye city life,
Green Acres we are here!!!

Love the pictures!

Thanks Jane, I have more from the park that I will post later. I just love all the rustic farm equipment and old buildings that are sitting in this historic part of Glendale, AZ.
ReplyDeleteI readily admit I went to Green Acres Elementary School and that show was my favorite. We even owned a tractor just like the piece of junk he had. Love that song. Lyrics were very appropriate. I would love to have a big old farm and have that equipment resting in the fields. Great pics!
ReplyDeleteThey don't seem to have those fun theme songs for TV shows anymore, just quick thuds or bangs and fast music. Loved Hootersville, Arnold Ziffel and Mr. Haney..... funny show!
ReplyDeleteJu! I love those pics! I think old rusty farm equipment is so nostalgic and fun! Great pics! I now have the Green Acres theme in my head for the rest of the night! LOL Thanks!
ReplyDeleteTara, that was the whole idea to get that theme song in people's head and drive them nuts, lol. I like the old rustic farm equipment too.
ReplyDeleteLove the pics; and that show!
