Mike and I agree that we were satisfied with the ending even though some of you were not. The Jimmy Kimmel show, in its humorous way, has provided three other alternate endings.....enjoy!

I'm with you. I didn't give up. I like to see things through to the end, but I'm not sure I'm glad I did. I felt like the end wasn't quite what I expected. These clips, were funny, however.
ReplyDeleteI honestly thought the ending was absolutely perfect for Lost. Theres no way in hell they were ever going to explain everything, and I feel they covered almost all the pressing questions. We knew what the island was, we knew why the Losties crashed there, we knew what their purpose was and ultimately that is all we truly needed to know to provide actual closure. The island story was officially resolved, quite depressingly if you ask me...but quite fantastic. The "alternate reality" story if you will...I was not expecting it to be what it was...but I thought it was beautiful and moving. Lost has always been a CHARACTER show and THAT is how you end a show about these particular people. It ended up being the ULTIMATE story of redemption. I found that to be profound and perfect. Probably the best finale I will ever see.
