Bizarre Arizona

I have to thank my good friend Sharon (Autumnforest) for giving me this idea. Sharon saw my excitement about taking photos and writing about the unusual stories of Arizona's past residences and places that bizarre events may have taken place.  I will focus most of my posts on these, giving you some of Arizona's strangest stories.  She promised may more road trips so we can check out the stories for ourselves. I am still looking for employment and hoping for a part time job so I can still take these trips.

I redid our blog, changing the logo and template to mark the changes.  I will still post other stories and videos, especially if I think you would be interested in them.  My first post will be about a bar/dance club I used to hang out with my friends when I was younger.  The place is abandoned now and has some stories of ghost still hanging around.

Thanks everyone for your support of our blog!

  1. Oh--I love the layout and the plan! This is going to be one of my favorite blogs to visit! Can't wait to experience the places with you! I have a tendency to go where I shouldn't, poke around where I'm not wanted, and generally be a human cockroach scampering around the desert town's carcasses. It's going to be fun to have another roach in the pack! (do roaches run in packs?)

  2. I never thought of myself as a cockroach, lol. I can't wait to get into places we shouldn't just to get great pictures and stories. Let's get that bigfoot... I will bake the brownies.

  5. WOW! A facelift. Groovy. It's very becoming on you. And you know me...I love reading about wacko places. Looking forward to seeing all your pictures and being able to vicariously jaunt around the state of AZ which I love and miss dearly via you. (PS where the heck is that "French Fry Man" as Jessica aptly named him? Funny!)
