It still amazes me how beautiful the universe is beyond our realm of site. It's like a wondrous masterpiece that is brought to us by telescopes, shuttles and satellite images. Someone took the time to put together a couple of videos of our universe's natural paintings, so please enjoy.

ReplyDeleteWow! You know, they remind me of the photos of the deep sea creatures they find and film. Deep space/deep sea??? Maybe not so different? Thanks so much for sharing that. I always wanted to do a set of paintings based on Hubble shots. When I was a kid, the concept of heaven and living for eternity with no end used to scare the bejezus out of me, but I have to admit that contemplating the size of the universe does that to me even more! I don't know how astronomers get their heads around the concepts.

ReplyDeleteAutumn, isn't it amazing how outer space and under the sea can give us the most wondrous pictures. I too would love to have some of these photos hanging on my walls.
