I've been following this for some time since they first revealed the amount of police files they had on the phenomenon. I'm hoping to go up to Greer some time and poke around. They have more credible witness reports than most and most police investigated than most areas. I think what gets me is that I understand the mindset of Native American people and I can imagine that for them to admit to this, they feel they're sharing something they've accepted as fact. Intriguing!
We have camped up in the White Mountains ever since our children were very little. They are adults now. I never knew about the White Mountain Bigfoot and it is probably a good thing. I wouldn't mind investigating with a group of Bigfoot experts. It would be interesting to see how they go about it. Julie
I heard that Tom Biscardi (aka the front man for the refrigerator Bigfoot incident) has dibs on the white mountains research, but I think he burned some bridges since then. I'm going to poke around and see who has regular hunts up there. I've got on my list of 100 things to do in my lifetime, to hunt bigfoot at least once. :-)
just to let you all know tom biscardi hassent burned any bridges matter of fact a new bigfoot sighting has just tolk place up in the white mountians apachie reservation and the natives are asking for tom to come back up their this month, so dont count your eggs until they,ve hatched oh and by the way, this is the secret_48 im on his radio show chat room every wensday
We live near Greer (about 5 miles outside of Greer). Today my son and his friend took a walk and came running home saying that they had seen a large black creature walking upright in the bluffs. They were obviously shaken and did see something. They are both 10 year olds that have lived in the mountains all of their lives and they know what a bear looks like and they are adamant that it was not something they had ever seen before..
I live on the border of the White Mt Appache Reservation and the national forest. When we first moved here, my son was out exploring and found a dead Cow Elk with a very large bare foot print next to it....I brushed it off...Yesterday he was dumping some excess dirt out back and smelled what he called "Sewage"...Looked up and saw a very tall, very large, covered in dark brown to blackish hair creature standing upright that WAS NOT a bear...He said it was quartering to him about 30 yards away from him, made several sounds similar to a Bull Moose, then contiuned walking up the game trail into the forest.....He was scared, shocked and apprehensive to tell me because he didnt think i'd believe him.....I totally do!!
